Fun French Learning On Demand !

"My major goal was to take away the stress of planning. Whether you choose to use the videos with your students, or whether you choose to watch a lesson yourself as teaching inspiration and then recreate it the next day; you use this platform in the way that works best for you!" - Mme Amy

Classrooms in action:

Last week my students started to learn "Bonjour les amis" song by Mme Amy and they absolutely loved it! Many of them asked to have a copy of the words to practice at home.. They definitely practiced! (Educator attached video of her class singing the song) How wonderful is their singing?! Super proud educator moment! We started to learn your song "vert et jaune" now and they love the actions.

Bonjour!

My name is Amy, or “Madame Amy” as my participants call me. I am a mother of two and a certified French teacher who left the classroom to begin “123 Petits Pas” where I now teach French to parents and children together and offer PD opportunities for educators.

With a background in theatre, I include music, movement, and fun activities into every lesson! My goal? Make French learning FUN for all.

Whether you’re a beginner, or completely fluent, and just looking for a fun way to teach French, 123 Petits Pas is a supportive community for ALL.

Fun fact: I’m raising my sons to speak French as their first language despite it being my second AND I’m the only one in our family who speaks French. You can learn more about that journey another time, but just know that I sprinkle all my tips & tricks regarding raising bilingual children throughout my French programming.

I cannot WAIT to have you and your students join our community.

À la prochaine!

Frequently asked questions:

The videos were made for children ages 2 – 8 years with any level of French. I recommend this for Preschooler – Primary educators. The videos are highly movement / music-oriented which allows beginners to easily follow allow, but also allows bilingual children to find them engaging as well.

I have several teachers who use the On Demand learning platform as inspiration for their lesson plans. You are welcome to use them in this way, or you can simply turn off your screen and just use audio if you prefer.

No! There are English and French subtitles on ever video. This means that even if you, as the adult, do not speak French, you will still have full comprehension and can assist the children if need be in their French learning.

If you are not fully satisfied, you may cancel within 1 week of purchase. If you would like to try the program out prior to purchasing the annual membership, I recommend opting for the monthly plan instead. You can cancel at any point with the monthly plan. If you try the monthly plan and wish to switch over to annual, send me a message at info@123petitspas.com and I will give you a discount to take the monthly payment that you made off your annual plan.

At this time there are over 65 videos in the platform. However, content is added each season and so this will continue to grow! The majority of videos are between 3-7 minutes in length. Some are French songs, some are mini lessons. The goal is to be able to implement little French videos throughout your teaching and/or to be able to use them as quick transitions during the day. There are however playlists that can be used for longer viewing (ex: indoor recesses etc.).

Absolutely! This is an incredible tool for all OTs as you know you’ll always have fun French plans in your back pocket to use at a moment’s notice. There is section in the Educator handbook that explains how to use this as an OT and even has a template for you to leave a note to the teacher you’re replacing.

Yes, there is a template for you to use to share the details with an OT. This includes instructions on how to login and a note to ensure they logout and do not use your information elsewhere.
