We love to encourage outdoor play but sometimes, in our cold climate, it is just too cold to play outside. We have come up with a list of our favourite French activity books to keep your child occupied on those cold winter days. These are great to practice your French, learn about a variety of topics and keep your child engaged. To make it easy, there are affiliate links to take you directly to each of the books!
My 5 year old and I have thoroughly enjoyed every single one of these French workbooks:
Le cahier d’activités Passe-Partout. This book has over 62 pages of fun activities. Inspired by the popular Passe-Partout series, this activity book offers children a varied range of fun activities like colouring, seek and find, connect the dots, mazes and spot the difference games.
Mon Grand Cahier d’Activités maternelle: de 4 à 6 ans.
There are over 200 kindergarten activities in this book with writing practice, reading, math, discovery and observation, games, colouring activities and more! This book is fully colourable and so entertaining it will not feel like learning for your child. They will love learning and mastering the skills in this workbook!
123 Petits Pas: Download and print packages!
Sometimes it’s hard to find specific French activities. Like re-usable journal pages, or bilingual alphabet sheets. From time to time I make my own and share them with my participants. You can buy and download my budget-friendly French activity packages here. Keep an eye on the page as I continue to update it. 🙂
